the only wall this product stuck to was my bathroom door (which i tried, just to see if i was crazy). it would not get suction on the tub/shower tiles. . . which were perfectly clean, and perfectly flat. it is true, however, that the tiles were not big enuf to cover, entirely, the dimension of the suction cup. . . probably shy 1/4″ all around. be sure that your tiles are large because if there is any gap at all, it won’t adhere. also, it looks very imposing. . you feel as though you are in a medical setting or an old age home.

Please examine carefully the place where you are planning to install the grab. The spacing of 4 inch tiles is N G. It would be best if the surface has no tiles, only a smooth surface. Since the bases of the grab bar are five inches, be warned and careful.

I followed the instructions and cleaned my smooth tile wall and both of the rubber suction cups before installing. Twice, the suction cup came undone after 1/2 hour and fell off the wall !!
I have no confidence in this product or a replacement. This could have lead to a dangerous fall in a shower with glass doors . . .

Did not work on my tile that has a little bit of texture. Only works on the smoothest of surfaces. Will have to return.

I purchased this item and have been using it in my shower as a hand rail. It works as advertised and I am happy with it. However, about a week after I received it I found a similiar product for sale at Walmart for less than $12. I purchased this one for my other shower and find that it works just as well as this more expensive product I purchased online. I could have saved myself some money, if I had been a more diligent shopper.
