they can and do deploy to places like Afghanistan and Iraq. wouldn’t think there would be a need for Rheumatoloigists to deploy, but Mine did.. and he’s an O5.

Yes, all medical personal can be deployed.
You don’t think people have broken bones while deployed ?
Yes, you can go to sea on a ship.
You have any idea how many people are on a carrier or in a carried task force ?
They break bones at sea also.
